House Cloete finally done, and I must say, my favourite design and project of the year so far. I have been doing ongoing work with this client for over 10 years, and this last one coincoded with a large house renovation and addition. Can't wait to see this one settle in .

A natural style garden nestled on a shale koppie next to the Breede river, surround by lical renosterbos, the idea here was to tread soflty and have this garden nestle intomits surrounding rather than shout out. Only 2 years later and it has matured beautifully on the hillside.

Recently completed little project for a high traffic area under trees, that resulted in terrible lawn. The solution, some stunning pavers, interplanted with shade loving Dichondra, and some soft ferns along the sides, highly aesthetic ,highly practical, win-win.

3D Concept presentation day...

Enlarging a stoep, without the need for a counterfit square or rectangle shape. This concept absorbs the whole garden as an outdoor entertaining room, blurs the line between where the garden stops and entertainment area begins. Bushveld trees and wild grass huigs the deck extension, a Fever Tree pops trough he deck, and lazy steps leads down to the after dinner firepit area, under an established Pepper Tree.

Modern or classic? The last proposal for 2021...which one do you prefer?

Gave this driveway an updated look by updating the cobble paving with in situ floating pads to bring in more greenery between hardlandscaping. We planted tough Dymondia between the pavers, a tough, waterwise, and super flat indigenous groundcover, that will do perfect in this hot area. Now waiting for the Pennisetum grasses to fill out nicely!
