Prepping to deliver a keynote at a Sales Conference on Thursday speaking about my Wealth Personas.
Decided to ‘motivate’ myself with tea and a slice of heavenly carrot cake made by my sister in law.
What you up to today?

Meet my client.
When I met Debbie Combrink for the first time, her energy felt like a fresh summer breeze had just entered the room!
So imagine when I discovered that she owned a Swimwear and Resort Wear Brand called Positano with the taglines: “The art of savouring life’s simple pleasures” and “Live Fabulously”
One of the things that I love about Debbie is that she’s front and centre of her brand, showing those of us who’re not 22 anymore (except in our dreams) that we can look and live fabulously even in a swimsuit!

Tell me if this is what your week looks like:
Monday morning you're pumped and ready to go. You set your goals for the week and you start strong.
By Friday afternoon all you want to do is curl up on the couch with a glass of wine and start the weekend!
Monday rolls around and you're back to setting those goals.
But at the end of the month you notice that you've not really seen the momentum you were hoping for - it kinda feels like you're spinning your wheels.
I've coached so many women just like you who tell me the same thing: I'm doing what the 'gurus' tell me I should be doing to set myself up for success but then why don't I feel like I'm seeing the success I should be?
Well - it might be because Yes it's important for you to start your week strong but it's just as important for you to end your week reflecting.
Which is why I've created The Friday Finish Line Toolkit - Five Powerful Questions that will help you close out your week.
It's going to take you about 10 Mins to complete - and Yes you can complete it under the blankie on your couch with a glass of wine in your hand.
We all know the algorithm doesn't like links so I've popped it into the comments but in case it gets lost, just hop onto my website which is my name and surname dot com.
And now I'm off to see what havoc my granddaughters and their play dates have wrecked in my braai room - I may need a strong drink 😂

This quote is more profound than ever for myself and the women I get to work with as we create their Unapologetic Success roadmaps.
This is such a powerful quote.
As you step into really living a life of your own design, there will be people who try to shrink you into fitting into their view of the world! It has very little to do with you and your journey and loads to do with them and their journey or lack thereof.
I do find myself sometimes shrinking to fit but I’m getting better at recognizing when it happens and then gently (ok,sometimes not so gently) rising up and claiming what I want!

Looking back over the last 7 years, June really holds ‘movement’ energy for me.
In 2018, I decided to call myself The Elevation Coach and began to cut the cords the tethered me to old paradigms;
In 2019, I launched my first ‘Unapologetically Successful’ Retreat;
In 2020, I launched The Hive Mind Mastermind;
In 2021, I ran my updated Psychology of Pricing Programme (the only programme of this nature);
In 2022, I exited a business partnership that no longer felt aligned;
In 2023, I conceptualised and ran a Content that Converts in person workshop that then became the foundation for a series of workshops I ran across multiple clients;
In 2024, the incredible and I launched our first Christmas in July event;
In 2025. . . . . watch this space . . . . .
What I can tell you is that each and every one of these 'moves' were led by reconnecting to my inner knowing and following my intuition without question.
I'd love to know if you find that there are months that for you hold a 'pattern'?

Have the best week!
Seven years ago today I ran my first webinar in conjunction with someone else from a coaching course I was doing.
Total truth - it was part of our ‘homework’ for the course or I would never have done it!
It was scheduled for 23:00 my time.
Everyone had gone to bed and the house was eerily quiet.
I remember sitting on my couch shaking with fear that it was going to be a total flop. (A big part of that fear stemmed from the fact that I wasn’t sure the American audience we had marketed this to would understand my accent or my sarcasm)
I dialled in at 10:55, discovered that the lighting where I sitting was shocking and had to move myself to my kitchen counter. (Now my fear had escalated to full blown anxiety and I was shaking like a leaf)
Five people joined that webinar. (We only realised afterwards that there were people in the waiting room that we never let in)
I started the session saying that I was happy to answer any questions during what I was sharing. Two minutes in and the first question was asked. It caused me to go completely ’off script’ answering it - that question led to another and another and boom we were done!
I logged off on a high - a whole new world had opened up for me.
One of the women on that call became a client.
To that Diane seven years ago I want to say: Thank you for taking the step in spite of your fear!
I’d love to know what’s one messy first step that you took that you’re now so proud of?

Heard this recently and loved it!

Again and again, I realise this.
Each step in my business journey, has required me to elevate.

This week it’s all about ‘Back to Basics’ for me.
Which loosely translated means:
Re-looking at my business foundations (Yes those notebooks are filled with notes I’ve made over time as I’ve elevated)
Formulating my strategy for next 12 months
Getting into hyper practical mode on how to implement this in a way that works for me.
What’s on your ‘list’ for this week?
(Oh and I’m doing this locked behind closed doors where I can think in silence)

“Fearless mothers raise daughters who believe they can change the world!”
My Mom would have been 94 years young today. What I wouldn't give to be sitting down with her enjoying a cup of tea, obviously served out of bone china tea cups, preferably Royal Albert!
I would wrap my arms around her, hold her tight and tell her just how much I learnt from her and continue to learn from her long after she’s gone.
My Mom was a woman who was way ahead of her time - I’m always astounded that the things I thought were perfectly normal were in actual fact quite abnormal!
At the age of around 19, my Mom decided to head off with her best friend back packing around Europe. And from the photographs I’ve got they had the time of their lives.
My Mom was a business owner way before it even became a ‘thing’ for women to have their own businesses. And one of them was as a partner in a Scrapyard for heavens sake! I asked her once why a scrapyard. Her answer: He needed the money and I saw an opportunity! (Gives me serious Dragon’s Den vibes)
My Mom stood as an independent candidate in the local government elections in South Africa in the 1980s - in the height of apartheid at a time where that could have serious implications to your life. She won her ward - only woman on the town council. I still remember so clearly her rushing out on a Tuesday night to the council meeting - folder under her arm, determination in her eyes and fire in her belly.
My Mom went out and got her 10Ton Truck license after my father shattered his shoulder in an accident so that the business could continue to operate should anything like that happen again.
My Mom was a ‘cold water swimming’ pioneer - She would get up every morning and swim come rain or shine. The last time she was in Cape Town (she was 79) she went sans wetsuit into the ocean at Melkbos - I stood on the side shaking my head and saying: Mom, you’re crazy. (Little did I know that I would grow to loving cold water swimming and Yes Melkbos is my favourite place to swim)
Every time I think of becoming a ‘wallflower’ - I just ask myself: “What would Mom have done?” Works like a charm. And Yes Mom, I’m going to change the world!!
(Pic 1 is me sitting on my Mom’s lap. Pic 2 is my daughter Bianca on my Mom’s lap - it’s one of my favourite pictures of the two of them together.)
