We handed the mic to the youth. ๐ค๐
Our students shared messages of hope, encouragement, and wisdom for young people who may be facing challenges, chasing dreams, or simply trying to find their place in the world.
This Youth Day, we celebrate the resilience, courage, and potential that exists within every young person. You are not defined by your circumstances, your mistakes, or where you come from. Your future is still being written.
To every young person watching: keep believing, keep growing, and keep showing up. Your voice matters. Your story matters. Your life has purpose.
Happy Youth Day, South Africa. ๐ฟ๐ฆโจ

As TLC Outreach Projects celebrates 28 years of Youth Development, we honour the young adults, youth, fathers, and mothers who have journeyed through our programmes and become the leaders, caregivers, and changemakers they are today.
Over the past 28 years, we have witnessed hundreds of lives transformed. Many came through our doors struggling with addiction, caught in cycles of crime, or feeling lost and without hope. Today, we salute your courage, resilience, and determination.
You are no longer defined by your past. You have overcome tremendous obstacles, embraced rehabilitation, and are now living lives of purpose, dignity, and hope.
Today, we also take a moment to remember those who are no longer with us. We honour the lives of those lost to gang violence, illness, addiction, and other hardships. Their stories remain part of our journey, and we pause in silent remembrance of them.
To every volunteer, staff member, donor, community partner, and helper who has walked alongside TLC Outreach Projects over these 28 years, thank you. Your dedication, compassion, and unwavering support have made a lasting impact on countless young lives and families.
Together, we celebrate 28 years of transformation, restoration, and hope and we look forward to many more years of changing lives, one person at a time.
Today, on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, we stand with the elderly members of our community and raise our voices against all forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and mistreatment.
Our elders carry the stories, wisdom, sacrifices, and foundations upon which our communities are built. Yet far too many older persons experience loneliness, neglect, financial abuse, emotional harm, and violence behind closed doors.
At TLC Outreach Projects, we believe that every elderly person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, safety, and love.
This day serves as a reminder that protecting our seniors is not only the responsibility of families, it is the responsibility of all of us. Let us choose to listen, support, advocate, and create communities where our elders feel valued, seen, and cared for.
If you suspect elder abuse, don't stay silent. Be the voice for those who may not be able to speak for themselves.
Together, we can build a society where every older person can age with dignity and hope.
๐ Respect. Protect. Honour.
