We do not like repairing fences normally - it almost always ends up being a lot of work for very little reward...but on occasion we make an exception. Check out these before and after pics and decide for yourself whether it is a good job or not...

WE ARE MOVING!! As from 1 May 2021 our new premises will be at 26 Smit Street, Strand. We are still doing the same thing though quality fencing, walling, gates and other security installations.

There is no question - things are really tough at the moment. People are simply not spending anything because there is too much uncertainty about what the future holds. And unfortunately, there is not much we can do about that - except - when something does come in, we make sure we do a good job. Take this for example - a humble project to make and install some wooden gates. We are very proud of our workmanship. What do you think?

And on the subject of small animals...we received an unusual request to build a monkey shelter. Which we did. Now we love animals but these guys did not seem particularly grateful for their new home - the started pelting our guys with fruit! How rude!

Doggy fences. You would be amazed how many queries we get in connection with doggy fences. Now normally, we would not bother putting up pics for these...but we recently did an installation that had a rather pleasant view. See for yourself!

Wow. South Africa has, for months now, not had sufficient steel supplies to meet the fencing requirements of the country. We have been searching, hassling, hustling all suppliers, competitors etc. in a bid to get our hands on some steel to make palisade fences...nothing. What a disaster! Luckily we are still able to make things like gates and install other types of fence which are in stock.

If anyone has an idea of where we can get hold of galvanised steel coil - 1mm x 90mm - please let us know!

One of the issues we often face is dealing with body corporates. Often there is a difficulty getting clear directions from body corporates because there are disparate views within the BC itself. Fortunately though, when we recently installed a series of carports in a complex in Strand - we received very positive reviews about the carports. Check out the pics. We replaced old fashioned, shoddy cloth carports with these modern look steel versions. Very Nice! We are open to install more if anyone is interested.

Every now and then we do a job where - even though the project may not be massive - we are nevertheless proud of the job itself because we know that we have good work and that our clients are delighted. We have finished a few jobs like this recently...

SAFT: Thankyou!!!
For those who do not know - the SAFT or South African Future Trust is a special purpose trust established with a view to helping small businesses like ours get through the worst of the CV19 lockdown. It was funded, I believe, by the Oppenheimers, and provided 15 weeks of reliable wages paid to workers direct on behalf of successful applicants. The monies are provided as an interest free loan.
