Congratulations to our new prefects, and especially to our new head boy and head girl for 2027!

At Parel Vallei, the head prefects will lead a group of student leaders responsible for specific portfolios. Each portfolio has its own head (or gold) prefect with two silver prefects serving as well.

We wish them well for the term ahead!

Veels geluk aan ons nuwe prefekte, en in die besonder aan ons nuwe hoofleiers vir 2027!

By Parel Vallei lei die hoofseun en -dogter ’n groep leerderleiers wat vir ’n spesifieke portefeulje verantwoordelik is. Elke portefeulje het dan ook ’n hoofprefek (die goue prefek) met twee silwer prefekte wat in daardie portefeulje dien.

On Tuesday, 14 July, our very own 14y old Lucian Julius released his 2nd single: "Ek kies om te glo"

Ons is so trots op hierdie jong lid van ons gemeente wat die wêreld will aanspoor om op enige ouderdom, in verskillende omstandighede, jongmense aan te moedig om 'n regte keuse te maak - Glo in jouself en kies om te glo in jou eie vermoë!

Our Youth & Confirmation group came together and hosted a Movie Night on Monday, 15 June

The movie screened was Sarafina - which was selected to provide better understanding about why we celebrate Youth Day.

Afterwards, we discussed topics such "Teens being seen", "Fear amongst Friends" and "Youth Identity" to bring context to the movie and the Celebration of Youth on the 16th June

With warm popcorn and a truly captivating movie - great fun was had by all.
