1973 - Springs Airfield was a hub for some of the largest airshows on the East Rand. Here a beautiful Tiger Moth is surrounded by spectators at a large airshow on Saturday the 20th March.
"Scully" Levine who flew the one used in the film "Die Sersant en die Tiger Moth" in which he starred, flew one low over the crowd at the show to exhibit its capabilities.
