To be honest, most children who "struggle with reading" are not dull. They simply weren't taught the right way.

Reading is a skill like any other skill. It can be learnt, strengthened, and mastered with the right methods.

Many children missed the foundation of phonics like sound blending, segmenting, and structured reading. Without these, even the brightest child may struggle.

Imagine trying to bake without knowing the ingredients. That is how reading feels without phonics.

When a child learns that c + a + t = cat; reading suddenly makes sense, fear disappears, and confidence grows.
