🐾🧡 TRIVIA TUESDAY: THAT LITTLE EAR TIP TELLS A BIG STORY!🧡🐾

Have you ever seen a cat with a little piece missing from the tip of their ear and wondered what happened? 👀🐱

It doesn't mean they've been injured.

An ear tip is a recognised sign that a community cat has already been through TNR — Trap, Neuter, Return. 🐾

The cat is humanely trapped, sterilised, and then returned to their colony. The small, clean ear tip allows rescuers and members of the community to quickly recognise that the cat has already been sterilised.

And that little tip can make a BIG difference. ❤️

✨ It helps prevent unnecessary re-trapping.
✨ It saves the cat from undergoing another stressful procedure.
✨ It helps rescuers identify which cats still need sterilisation.
✨ It allows limited rescue resources to be focused where they're needed most.

So the next time you spot a little ear tip, remember:

It's not a sign of injury.
It's a sign that someone cared enough to give that cat a second chance.🧡🐾
