Why were the Israelites given Manna? It was in the wilderness. For you to survive you need something to take you through. There is spiritual dryness. For you to survive, you need something to take you through. You need something spiritual for the moments you are passing through. Your life has been moving up and down, you need manna for your life to be sustained. Jesus Christ is the Manna.

Where you are, understand that there are places you cannot walk alone and survive. You will need food that will make you survive. And this food is Jesus Christ. Many eat the communion without discernment. Communion is not something we do as a routine. When Jesus gave Judas the bread, immediately satan entered Judas. If you do not have revelation about communion, bad spirits can enter you. There are so many of you today who are spiritually weak. Communion is for spiritual strength. Before you lead communion, you have to prepare yourself.

In John 6:35 (NKJV) "And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst." Jesus is the bread of life. Jesus appears in the new testament as the bread of life. We have people who eat holy communion without even knowing what they are eating and we have other people do it as a routine of having manna. God took Manna and hid it in the church. What is this hidden Manna?

This is the bread that falls from heaven and Jesus said I am that bread. When we are talking about Manna we are talking about the bread. In the old testament, Manna disappeared and Jesus then appeared in the new testament and said "I am the bread." You need to understand that this is not just bread but it is the Manna which is Jesus Christ!

The word Manna to most people is the food God gave to the people of Israel. The whole journey of the people of Israel was a prophecy but what they needed was sustainability.

For them to be sustained there was a need for food to be provided for them. The Scripture tells us particular small food fell from heaven and the Israelites did not know what it was. Moses told them that this is the bread that falls from heaven which is Manna. Manna was supposed to be eaten alive, if Manna is not eaten the same day it got rotten and developed magots.

Revelation:
The wilderness is more than a physical desert; it is a spiritual location and experience. It is a season where resources seem limited, promises appear delayed, and life feels isolated.
Many believers find themselves in a wilderness season, wondering where God's provision is and why certain doors have not yet opened. Yet throughout Scripture, every great servant of God experienced a wilderness. It is in the wilderness that God teaches dependence, faith, and trust. The wilderness strips away self-reliance and teaches us to depend entirely upon God. The Hebrew concept behind the wilderness is connected to Dabah, meaning "to speak." The wilderness is often the place where God speaks most clearly. Away from distractions, He reveals His will, and teaches us lessons that cannot be learned elsewhere.

Prophetic Action:
In your wilderness season, be sensitive to the voice of the Lord. Soak yourself in the ministry of prayer and the Word as you download revelation from God concerning your next season.
