CENTRE CLEANING - 7 SELECTED PARTICIPANTS
Following the successful "Future First Dialogue Circle" held at Boitekong Community Centre yesterday, 7 of our NYS Phase 5 - 1st Cohort participants are on duty today to ensure the centre remains clean and welcoming.
We remain committed to service, discipline, and taking pride in the spaces we use to empower our communities.

BOIKANYOS KITCHEN REFRESHMENTS
Beyond the Change Foundation and Khulisa Social Solutions were pleased to provide refreshments, including a nourishing Boikanyo's Kitchen, to NYS PHASE 5 Participants who attended of the FUTURE FIRST DIALOGUE CIRCLE held at Boitekong Community Centre.
This thoughtful gesture aimed to foster a sense of community and appreciation among participants, who engaged in meaningful discussions on the human side of how substances impact jobs, family and dreams. The provision of refreshments underscored the organizations' commitment to supporting the well-being of our participants and acknowledging their valuable contributions to the dialogue.

SUCCESSFUL DIALOGUE | BOITEKONG COMMUNITY CENTRE
We are proud to announce the successful and fruitful hosting of the "Future First Dialogue Circle" for the 2026 NYS Phase 5 1st Cohort under Beyond The Change Foundation.
Held at the Boitekong Community Centre, this impactful session formed part of the H.E.A.R.T PROJECT, led by Khulisa Social Solutions.
Our NYS Phase 5 participants engaged meaningfully, gaining essential information and practical tools on how substance use impacts jobs, family, and dreams. The dialogue created a safe space for reflection, learning, and empowerment.

The Executive Mayor of Govan Mbeki Municipality, Nhlakanipho Zuma and NYDA Executive Chairperson, Dr. Sunshine Myende, officially launched Phase V of the Revitalised National Youth Service (NYS) Programme in eMbalenhle.
A total of 280 unemployed youth signed six-month contracts to participate in the programme, through which they will receive a monthly stipend while gaining practical work experience and skills aimed at improving their future employment prospects.

NYS PHASE 5 PARTICIPANTS - GROUP 1 | BEYOND THE CHANGE FOUNDATION
COMMUNITY SERVICE INITIATIVE: AFTER-SCHOOL HOURS
After school hours, Group 1 of our NYS Phase 5 participants visited Tshirolohang Primary School to clean the Foundation Phase classrooms, Grade 1 – 4.
We understand that littering during school hours is common. As part of our service, we stepped in to ensure that learners return to a clean, safe, and dignified learning environment.
At Beyond The Change Foundation, we believe everyone has the right to a clean environment and the responsibility to keep it that way. Through this activity, our participants are leading by example and encouraging learners to take pride in their school.

As We recognize that littering during break time is common, and as part of our service, we stepped in to ensure learners return to a clean and dignified learning environment.
