Started at Tembisa community radio, got the YFM call mid-gig, then co-founded TS Records with TK. Signed Pro Kid, Brown Dash, Zahara. Label ran SA for years. When it closed in 2020, he didn’t cry — he pivoted.

Built Massiv Metro, retired from daytime radio with a 9-day world record broadcast for charity. Then Mofaya Energy Drink happened. Co-founded 2013, plugged it live on Metro FM, got fired 2015, sold 26% to Coca-Cola, and fought 9 years to hit Shoprite shelves. Most people quit at “fired.” Sbu quit at “sold out.”

Now he’s in his “three-pillar” era: Powernomics Africa music comeback after 10 years, property book _Brick by Brick_ from Ekasi Noble Property Development, and VW collab cars that fund school fees. Plus Hustlers Academy and Hustlers Corner Podcast.

His skill? Turning every “no” into a remix. Fake Forbes cover, repossessed cars, public losses — he made it all content and came back louder. Belief + paperwork = his formula.
