WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ONE PERSON REFUSES TO LET THEIR COMMUNITY WALK ALONE? π₯Ήπ₯Ήπ³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ
In every town, there is that one person who quietly carries the hopes of many.
The one who opens their heart before they open a door.
The one who creates a seat at the table before anyone asks for one.
For countless LGBTQIA+ people across Botshabelo and surrounding communities, that person is Morapedi Olifant Matlolane.
While many talk about change, Morapedi has spent years creating it. Building safe spaces. Connecting people to life-saving health services. Educating, mentoring, encouraging and reminding q***r people that they deserve to take up space, dream bigger and live proudly.β€οΈβ€οΈ
His impact cannot be measured by titles, awards or applause. It lives in the confidence of those he has empowered, the lives he has touched and the community he continues to hold together through service, compassion and unwavering commitment.
Some people become leaders because they are chosen.
Others become leaders because they choose their peopleβevery single day.β€οΈβ€οΈ
Today, we celebrate a man who has become a beacon of hope, belonging and pride for many.
Morapedi, your flowers are long overdue. π

WE DON'T JUST CREATE SAFE SPACES. WE GROW THEM.π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ
Every safe space we build begins with a dream, but it survives because of resilience, grows because of creativity, and thrives because of community.
We believe in nurturing every idea, every project, and every person until they reach their full potential. We don't give up when things get difficult. We adapt, we learn, we create, and we keep moving forward.
Empowerment is our purpose.
Inclusivity is our promise.
Creativity is our language.
Resilience is our strength.
No matter how long the journey takes, we remain committed to seeing every vision through. Because the spaces we create today become the foundations of hope, belonging, and opportunity tomorrow.
And for that reason, we will never stop.π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ

YOUR STORY DESERVES TO BE HEARD.π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ
In many rural areas and small towns, survivors of violence carry their pain in silenceβnot because they don't want help, but because they fear judgment, rejection, or not being believed.ππ
If this is your story, know this: your experience is valid, your voice matters, and you deserve support, dignity, and safety.
Ending GBVF starts with creating communities where survivors are believed, protected, and empowered to speak without fear. Together, we can break the silence, challenge the stigma, and build a future where no one suffers alone.
You are not invisible. You are not forgotten. And your story matters.πππ

A VOICE OF HOPE, A HEART FOR PEOPLE.π³οΈβπ
Some people don't measure success by followers, likes or applause. They measure it by the lives they've touched, the people they've uplifted, and the hope they've given to those who needed it most.
This Pride Month, we celebrate Nick Adams β a motivational speaker, comedian, advocate and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community whose passion for people shines through everything she does.π³οΈββ§οΈπ³οΈβπ
Through her voice, she encourages people to embrace who they are, stand tall in their truth, and never lose sight of their worth. She speaks for who feel unheard, stands beside those who feel judged, and reminds others that they are deserving of love, respect and belonging.
Her impact may not always make headlines, but it is felt in the hearts of those she inspires every day.π³οΈββ§οΈπ³οΈβπ
And sometimes, that's where the most powerful change begins. Adams

10,000 VOICES. ONE VISION. ENDLESS POSSIBILITY. π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ
Today, we celebrate 10,000 followers β not as a number, but as a community.
10,000 people who believe that visibility matters.
10,000 people who understand that rural areas and small towns deserve to be seen, heard, and included.
10,000 people who continue to walk this journey with us as we amplify q***r voices, create opportunities, and build spaces where everyone belongs.
Our voice is reaching places where silence once lived. Our stories are travelling further than we ever imagined. And for every follow, every share, every conversation, and every act of support β thank you.
This milestone belongs to all of us.
The movement is growing. The visibility is growing. The impact is growing.
And we're only getting started.β€οΈπ³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ

In many rural communities and small towns, LGBTQIA+ people experience violence, abuse, and discrimination in silence β not because it isn't happening, but because support is often far away, difficult to access, or simply not designed with them in mind.π₯Ήπ³οΈββ§οΈπ³οΈβπ
Too many survivors are forced to choose between their safety and the risk of being judged, outed, or ignored.
Violence does not become less real because nobody is talking about it.
This Pride Month, we honour the courage of those who continue to survive, speak up, seek help, and hold onto hope despite the odds.
Everyone deserves to feel safe. Everyone deserves to be heard. Everyone deserves protection, regardless of who they are or who they love.π³οΈββ§οΈπ³οΈβπ
The silence is not proof that the problem doesn't exist. It is proof that we still have work to do.

Some of us are still learning how to say our truth out loud.
Some of us are carrying the weight of being misunderstood by family, judged by our communities, or feeling like we have to shrink ourselves just to belong.
But hear this:
Your identity is not a burden.
Your existence is not a mistake.
And your story does not need anyone's permission to matter.
Whether you're out, questioning, healing, or simply trying to make it through another day in a small town where nobody seems to understand β you are worthy of love, dignity, safety, and joy.
One day, you will look back and realise that the very thing they told you to hide was the thing that made you powerful.
Keep choosing yourself. We are rooting for you.π³οΈββ§οΈπ³οΈβπ

EVERY COMMUNITY HAS A Q***R GEMπ
This Pride Month, we're shining a light on the people who show up, speak out, create change, and make our communities a little brighter every day.π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ
From the activist fighting for equality, to the entrepreneur creating opportunities, the artist telling our stories, the mentor guiding our youth, or the everyday hero quietly making a difference β we want to celebrate them.
Too often, the incredible work happening in our rural areas, villages, townships, and small towns goes unseen. This is your chance to help us change that.
π Nominate a Q***r Gem.
π Tell us who they are.
π Tell us why they deserve their flowers.
Because Pride is not only about being visible it's about celebrating the people who help our communities thrive.
Tag them below or send us a message with their nomination.π³οΈββ§οΈπ³οΈβπ

GIVE KOKETSO HER FLOWERS.π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ
Some people talk about change. Others become the change.
Today, we celebrate Therealkoketso Berries who is a fearless human rights and GBVF activist whose impact reaches far beyond titles, recognition, or applause. As a transgender woman, she continues to show us that advocacy has no limits. Her voice speaks for women, children, the differently abled, LGBTQIA+ people, and anyone whose dignity and rights are under threat.
What makes her work even more powerful is that she does it voluntarily, driven by compassion, courage, and an unwavering belief that every person deserves to be seen, protected, and valued.
In our small towns and rural communities, where silence often hides injustice, Koketso's work echoes loudly. She reminds us that human rights belong to all of us, and that fighting GBVF is everyone's responsibility.
Today, we give her flowers while she can still smell them.πΉ
Drop a π and a message of appreciation for Koketso below.
