📚🌍 Educational Trip Success – Cradle of Humankind 🌍📚

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are delighted to inform you that our Intersen Phase learners had a wonderful and successful educational trip to the Cradle of Humankind. The learners had an enriching experience and gained valuable knowledge about human history, fossils, archaeology, and the importance of preserving our heritage.

The trip was both educational and enjoyable, and our learners returned inspired, informed, and excited about what they discovered.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the parents and guardians who supported and participated in making this trip possible. Your continued involvement plays a vital role in the success of our educational programmes.

To parents who may not have participated this time, we warmly encourage you to take part in future school events and activities. Your support creates memorable learning opportunities and helps us build a stronger school community for our children.

Motivation of the week

IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM ALJAY PRIMARY SCHOOL💙.

Dear Aljay Parents,Staff & Learners

It is with missed emotions that we announce the Resignation of the Principal Mr G.W.Van Heerden who has served well at our School for the past five and half (5.5) years.

Through his leadership he
✅Drafted all School Policies
✅Spearheaded our full DBE registration
✅Built the foundation of discipline and excellence that Aljay is known for today

We sincerely thank him for his dedication and wishing him all the best in his next chapter in life.

WHATS NEXT FOR ALJAY💙

We are also excited to announce that Ms Kamogelo Monnena,our current Foundation Phase Head of Department,has been appointed as Acting Principal with immediate effect.

Ms Monnena is born and bred in Zeerust here in the North West and has a passion for learners and learning.Working closely with Mr Van Heerden,the SMT and the entire staff and community,she is ready to Lead Aljay into the future and build on the strong foundation that has been laid by her predecessor.

About K. Monnena & Qualifications:
• Holds a Bachelors Degree : - Social Sciences Development Studies majoring in Psychology,Sociology and Demography.(North West University)
•Post Graduate Certificate in Education. (Instill Education)
•Completed a Work Readiness Programme with the National Youth Development Agency in Rustenburg.
•Served as a Statistics South Africa Census Fieldwork Supervisor in Rustenburg
•Served in the Youth Environmental Service at Ramotshere Moiloa Municipality under the Dpt of Forestry,Fisheries and Environment in collaboration with North West University. Etc
