Yesterday a handful of us got to go to the Decorex show at the Sandton Convention centre.. Everything colourful caught my eye.. as we entered hall after hall from the top working ourselves down to the last floor I was greeted by the most beautiful and colourful thing I have seen in a long time - The Universal Paints SA stand that was made up with wood partations and colourful lights displaying the colours of their logo and my custom made pinata from Creative Creative Rabbit right in the corner.

The rabbit won free tickets to the Decorex show and if there is one thing im absolutely crazy about its defnitely colours all of them. In return I thought I would get in touch with them to create a beautiful branded pinata for their stand at Decorex this coming weekend❣🙏🪅

Cardboard box light fixture.. I've always loved the way that light and shadow can create its own magic. This was done by using normal cardboard box a lick of paint and some details made with glass, feather and beads in 2022..
Today I woke up and returned back to my own studio.. Creative Rabbit connecting the dots through the art of flow. Its something I live by or atleast try to as much as I can.... The last few years have been something that started like a gentle earthquake that intensified... in no way do I mean anything negative by using the word intensified either.. Its been the eb and flow of life, something I believe is a natural rhythm we all have pir owm rythm- almost like a thumbprint.
I always have the ability to sit through storms.. to have the faith that the sun will shine again.. the duration of neither the storm nor the sun is important its what you do while going through it.
On this 7th day of the 7th month I quietly woke up lit a candle and once again whispered out loudly a beautiful new canvas connected the the right frequencies where love, value and authenticity comes in as a natural state of being... And that for me starts right here with me, my own self, this is who I am and this is what the studio is and what we (the Creative Rabbit and myself aka Marika Foord create❣
