We are a Christian Church with a mandate to teach people the word of God so that they can experience the life of God

The reason the world is not seeing Jesus today is because Christian people are not filled with Jesus. They do not have an identity of Christ like the people of Antioch had. They have an identity of their nationality imposed on them by cigar smoking, blood thirst murderers who established our divide with a knife for their selfish reasons. They would rather be identified by something else rather than as Christians. They have more loyalty to their Benin given country than they have to the Jesus proclaimed ecclesia.
They are satisfied with attending meetings weekly, reading the Bible occasionally, and praying sometimes. Beloved, if God lays hold of you by the Spirit, you will find that there is an end of everything and a beginning of God. Your whole body will become seasoned with a divine likeness of God. You will now have a global mandate to go into all the world.
Not only will God have begun to use you, but He will have taken you in hand, so that you might be "a vessel for honor" (2 Tim. 2:21). Our lives are not to be for ourselves, for if we live for ourselves we will die (Rom. 8:13); but if "by the Spirit [we] put to death the deeds of the body, [we] will live" (v. 13).
He who lives in the Spirit is subject to the powers of God, but he who lives for himself will die. The man who lives in the Spirit lives a life of freedom and joy and blessing and service - a life that brings blessing to all mankind irrespective of their nationality.
God would have us see that we must live in the Spirit. When you are in that place, you will see that you are anointed for nations. When you live in the Spirit, you start to see that your heart pants for the whole earth- you can now pray that ‘thy kingdom come on EARTH (not in your suburb or your country) as it is in heaven.’ The world becomes your platform.
There are men who have realized this global mandate and God honours them by giving them charge of cities beyond the borders of their nations. Remember the parable of the minas in Luke 19? God gave the faith servants responsibility over cities.
Have a blessed day

*Right believing*
Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men… Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
Mark 7:7, 13 KJV
One of the biggest areas of defeat, for many people, is wrong believing. If you believe wrongly, you will confess wrongly. If you confess the wrong things, the Word will not work for you and, therefore, you will live in defeat. Some of these wrong beliefs are taught from one generation to the other, among believers. The Lord Jesus was rebuking the Pharisees and the Scribes over their hypocrisy, in Mark 7, and He made a very important statement:
Just like the Pharisees and the Scribes, we also fall in the same trap of creating traditions and teaching them as Bible truths. Jesus said that when we do this, we make the Word of God have no effect. No wonder we do not see the manifestation, of the presence of God, when we preach. One of the reasons for this, is that we are preaching and believing a twisted gospel – traditions of men that have been passed on, from one person to the other, and they have become accepted in the church.
God confirms His word and not traditions. So, if we believe wrong, we will not get what God has promised in the Word. If we teach traditions, our hearers will not be blessed and will not experience the victory that comes with the Word of God.
It is the responsibility of every believer to spend time in the Word of God; to check every doctrine and every tradition that believers have adopted and see its accuracy in the light of God’s Word.
We are all victims of traditional teachings. Our parents and grandparents meant well when they taught us some of these things that we have believed from childhood. But most of these teachings are the reason we believe wrong and hence confess wrong and we have the setbacks we have. We must take time to renew our minds according to the instructions of scripture.
It is well with you in the name of the Lord Jesus.

‘Pastor, I have been looking for a church to belong to and when my children brought me this book, I read it and was sure that this is the church I have been looking for’. These words were spoken by brother Paul a couple of years ago. He was referring to the little booklet we give out to new converts - My New Life in Christ. A few weeks later brother Paul gave his life to the Lord Jesus and remained consistent in his attendance of church.
One day I called on a men’s meeting to help the men have fellowship with one another and map out strategies of how they can reach other men for the Lord Jesus. In one of these meetings, held at KFC Kagiso, brother Paul was chosen as the chairperson of the men’s ministry. The key focus of every ministry department in our church is outreach. Brother Paul was in the forefront of inviting other men to church. One of his close friends was so difficult to get to church that brother Paul had to use a scare tactic to get him there. Pastor Ireen had just given him the ammunition for this in one of her sermons from Psalm 1. So brother Paul went and told his friend that if he does not come with him to church, that would be the end of their friendship because he was not prepared to walk in the counsel of the ungodly. The threat worked and this friend finally can to church and gave his life to the Lord Jesus.
One day I asked brother Paul to join me for lunch at Spur and he drove all the way from Swaneville to Westgate. We had a great time of fellowship where we got to know a little bit more about each other. The bond started to grow stronger and brother Paul became our property painter.
One day he came to church with slippers and I asked him what the problem was. He told me that he had a particular medical challenge that he was dealing with. As our habit is, we started to pray for his healing. Brother Paul was however not getting better. He would go into hospital and stay there for a couple of days and then come back again only to go back after a couple of months.
We had created a prayer chain among the intercessors and prayed for brother Paul every day. We asked God for healing mercies. We prayed and fasted and believed that brother Paul would make it.
Last week Saturday, I got the message that every pastor dreads- brother Paul had gone home to be with the Lord. In the week he passed, I went to see him on a Wednesday. I found that he had not eaten, he was weak and was not talking. I asked someone to help me get him into a sitting position so that I could feed him. He ate some yogurt and a shake but I could see that brother Paul’s energy was depleted. I left the hospital with so many questions in my mind. Three days later, on Saturday, I got the news I did not want to hear.
I went to the funeral house the same day, broken. I got there and everyone was waiting for a word of encouragement from the pastor. I felt that I also needed someone else to encourage me. I spoke a few words but asked one of my colleagues from the Pastor’s Forum to be the main speaker (he also agreed to handle the whole funeral).
Today we laid the body of brother Paul to rest. I am grateful to the Lord for Pastor Joseph who was on hand to help me when I could not step forward. The Swaneville Resident Pastor for our church was also excellent.
May the Lord continue to comfort brother Paul’s family.

My passion to obey the command of the Lord Jesus, to all His children, to go out and preach the Gospel is what keeps me going to do just that.
Today the Holy Spirit was telling me that in this business, I must always ensure that my license to operate is valid. God is the Giver of this license. God only grants this honour to vessels that are separated to Him. When a man's ways are please to the Lord, God announces such a man to people and devils - 'this is My son.' When God announces you as such, devils will say - 'Charles we know' - and they will give way.
I may have a following and a building to preach from but if my license to operate as a minister of the Gospel is revoked, I will labour in futility - Help me, Lord Jesus - that will not be my portion in the Name of the Lord Jesus.
2Ti 2:20-24
(20) Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable.
(21) Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.
(22) So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
(23) Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels.
(24) And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil,
