Gauteng matriculants recorded a Matric Pass Rate of 88.4%, making the province #3 in the country. This marks a significant improvement from the previous year’s pass rate of 85.4%.

Gauteng’s Class of 2024 achieved an impressive 66 979 Bachelor passes, the 2nd highest number of Bachelor passes in the country.

Johannesburg West emerged as the top-performing district in the country, with a 97% pass rate for the second consecutive year.
