Humewood Golf Club may have witnessed another piece of golfing history!

On Monday, 22 June 2026, Barry Davis achieved the rare feat of scoring a 2 on the par-4 10th hole.

While holes-in-one and twos are always special, there is something extraordinary about carding a 2 on one of Humewood's iconic links holes. In a course history stretching back nearly a century, it is difficult to recall a more memorable recent achievement on the 10th.

Congratulations Barry on a shot that will live long in the memory.

During the recent EP Seniors Event on 18 June 2026, the fourball of Dabs Dalton, Keith Clark, John Martin and Jannie Joubert produced an incredible sequence of scores:

🏌️ Jannie Joubert – 3 (4 points)
🏌️ Keith Clark – 2 (5 points)

Between the four players, every possible Stableford score from 2 to 5 points was recorded on the same hole!
