We're proud to announce the completion of a fully off-grid dairy farm in the Eastern Cape! 🎉
This dairy now operates completely independent of the grid, powered by:

We're proud to share our latest milestone: the deployment of the ABB InSite Energy Management System — complete with a custom webserver and live data integration — on a fully off-grid dairy farm. 📊✨
🔍 Why it matters:
This farm runs entirely on solar PV and battery energy storage. Every kilowatt-hour counts. With ABB InSite monitoring all available loads in real time, we can now pinpoint exactly where energy is being wasted — from inefficient equipment to loads running when they shouldn't be.
💡 The goal:
Eliminate the inefficiencies, optimize every load, and let the solar and storage system do ALL the heavy lifting — so the diesel generators stay silent. ⛽❌ That means lower running costs, less maintenance, and a cleaner operation. 🌍✅

Our teams are out on site carrying out critical infrastructure maintenance and upgrades. 🛠️⚙️
On this project, we're installing a backup system that allows operators to control the inlet valves even during a power outage. ⚡🔌 Because when the power goes down, the water still needs to keep moving. 🚰
