MILLWRIGHT
3 month temporary contract

JOB SUMMARY
To conduct daily inspection, troubleshoot and maintenance of all mechanical equipment, electrical device including conveyors, chains drive, gearbox, machines, hydraulic pumps, and water pumps.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
☑️ Ensure maximum availability of all machines, electrical and mechanical.
☑️ Install electrical and electronic equipment such as pumps, electronic motors, fans, blowers, gearbox, pipes, valves, compressors, electrical.
☑️ Control gears, instrumentation systems etc.
☑️ Order and ensure availability of critical spares for electrical and mechanical.
☑️ Plan and organise all work orders allocated.
☑️ Ensure good housekeeping.
☑️ Ensure maintenance on hydraulics and pneumatics power systems including high- and low-tension power circuit (22KV and 220V), power plants, AC & DC motors, MCC’s drives and PLC’s
☑️ Identify mechanical faults reported during breakdown and maintain timeously.
☑️ Perform fault finding/ troubleshooting of complex problems.
☑️ Read and interpret technical drawings / schematics for the purpose of debugging faults timeously.
☑️ Support operations with problem solving and continuous improvement, perform basic welding and assist in executing special projects.
☑️ Adhere to provision of ACOUSTEX GROUP policies, procedures, and all other relevant legislation.
☑️ Ensure conformance with safety requirements and execute millwright maintenance or replacement activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
☑️ Matric with Maths or N3 Engineering Studies
☑️ Trade Certificate: Fitter/ Millwright
☑️ National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Engineering will be an added advantage.
☑️ 5 Years’ experience as an Artisan in a manufacturing environment
☑️ Valid driver’s license: Code 08
☑️ Willing to work shifts and be on standby
☑️ Sober habits

The qualifying candidate responsibilities will include:

➡️ Provide financial analysis and support to management and all operational areas of the business
➡️ Monitor and support debtors and creditors function
➡️ Review debtors age analysis, providing an analysis and action plans for debt collections
➡️ Review creditors age analysis and GRN system providing an analysis and action plans
➡️ Prepare and present budget packs (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Statement)
➡️ Review and authorise general ledger reconciliations
➡️ Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
➡️ Monthly Raw Material Margin Analysis and reporting
➡️ Quarterly stock count capturing (Syspro) & variance analysis plus reporting
➡️ APDP function: collection of forms, calculations, submissions, handling of OEM queries and external audits. (auditors/OEM/ITAC)

Position requirements and Qualification requirements:

➡️ Degree in Financial Accounting/Management Accounting
➡️ Automotive and/or corporate manufacturing experience
➡️ Knowledge of ERP System compulsory, preference will be given to candidates with Syspro experience
➡️ 5 years' experience in a similar role
➡️ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
➡️ CIMA preferred
➡️ Articles at an auditing firm
