After careful consideration and a lot of thought we are forced to move the COSI FAN TUTTE dates to a later date due to circumstances that we have to allow to run their course.

It is also unfortunate that we will no longer host the event in East London. The event will be only in Gqeberha.

We have emailed all the ticket buyers and a poster with the new date will be posted.

Letlhogonolo Fortunate will play the role of Fiordiligi.

Lindokuhle Gushu and S'phokazi Mzamo have done the role before therefore it’s time for the to explore other roles.

Lindokuhle Gushu

With a voice that “charms and thrills” and a “sparkling stage presence”

Lindokuhle Gushu is a young professional musician based in Gqeberha. She has proven to find favor with audiences in her hometown; Ntabankulu and Gqeberha.
Lindokuhle is noted for her electric readings of challenging contemporary repertoire, Her last recital showed the versatility of her voice and her understanding of different musical styles and languages in Classical Music.

She has performed semi-productions and concerts with NMU ensemble since she joined the University. She has worked with Umthombo Arts Development project, doing extracts from Cosi fan tutte doing the role of Fiordilgi. In 2022 She worked with the Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with Rhodes University Orchestra doing works by Mozart and Catalani in Makhanda and Gqeberha. Later in the year 2022 she did a production with TwoTone doing ‘His Day is Done’ by Ed Sarath in Makhanda. She is one of the students who performed in collaboration with the Southern Methodist University (SMU) from Dallas, Texas, USA.
She just graduated with her Master of Music in Performing Arts and she is presently a part of the Nelson Mandela University Music Department.

Afika Bhedla Gwam

Born in small town called Tsomo in Transkei, a Tenor who possesses great passion for classical music hails Afika Gwam who was discovered as a soloist when he first sang the song Ombra Mai Fu. He then joined Nelson Mandela Univeristy Music Department and he is currently doing his Bachelor of Music with voice as his first instrument. He has been in few productions: La Bo hema under Cape Town Opera and has done a number concert/Productions with Two Tone Production.

Afika believes in having fun in music it’s always nice having him in rehearsals.

We are proud to work with him, he has shown rapid growth.
