Hello Moya friends!🧡

Time for a little introduction to the face behind the posts. My name is Lara.. an Eastern Cape girl, born in Grahamstown & now living in GQ (Port Elizabeth).😉✨

A few fun facts about the brand:
• the word “moya” means wind / spirit / breath in Xhosa • with the above meaning in mind; I am inspired to breathe life into what truly matters to me which is connection & community
• my dream for this business is to empower and up-skill local craftsmen
• we are working on setting up a sewing school which will become the Moya production hub🤍

For now we’re focusing on 3 core products, 1 being the linen scatter cushions and the other 2 we’ll be launching soon. For now, production is slow as we build a foundation of crafters with an excellent skillset as we want to produce superior quality goods! We’re super proud of our linen cushions and hope you enjoy them too!

Moya has been undergoing a little revamp.. big brainstorming sessions, sourcing of materials, beautiful conversations with craftsmen and a whole lot of back & forth with new and very exciting ideas!

We have redefined our product offering and absolutely can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
