On fire for Jesus — battle-tested, grace-fueled, learning, growing, and running hard after Him. This space is where the gospel gets real, healing flows, prayer breaks chains, and bold truth is spoken in love. I don’t pretend to have it all together — I just love Jesus with everything I’ve got, and I want to be more like Him every day.
đź“– Bible truth.
🔥 Holy Spirit power.
đź’¬ Real talk.

Your Mistake Isn't Too Big

How much time in our lives do we spend doing the things the Bible and Jesus teach us we shouldn't?
If Jesus says don't worry, then don't worry. It's not sin if we do worry; it's actually a lack of faith.
Walking by faith is something I'm still learning about, but it takes moving because we're obedient. Not seeing the provision yet, but walking because we know it's there when we get there.
Laying on of hands and commanding healing because we know Jesus heals and He said we must lay hands. And I can't tell you how many healings I've seen.
If God is faithful like that, He's faithful in all things.
So decide to believe Him today and walk because He says walk, whether you see the provision yet or not.
Just walk.
Father, thank You that You are always the same. Thank You that You are faithful. Help me learn what it means to walk by faith, and then to do it for Your glory. In Jesus' Name, amen.

Don't let the fear of getting it wrong keep you from stepping out. God can work through your mistakes—just be willing to go when He says go.

How many situations have you been in where you felt powerless? You didn't know what to say, do, think, or even pray?
I've spent a long time not realizing that I can just press into Jesus. Everything I need is in Him. I only really started realizing this the more I got into the Word, because that's where the promises are.
I cannot emphasize enough: you must read your Bible intently.
Look at this great example today: His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness.
There's our power.
And how do we access it? Through the knowledge of Him who called us. You need knowledge of Him, and you get that in the Bible.
He knows all things, my friend. And He has shared so much with us. To get it, we just need to dive in. It's freely available. You just need to do it.
Do it until you don't yawn five sentences into reading. Then keep going until you get that light-bulb moment. Keep going until the Word comes alive to you.
Everything you need is in Him.
Father, thank You for giving us so much—so much that we don't even realize because we don't take the time to dive into Your Word properly. Help me to come closer to You and lean into You more. In Jesus' Name, amen.

August in a Nutshell
Hello my beautiful people of the Lord,
Can you believe a month has passed this quickly?
It always amazes me how quickly time can go by. It feels like merely yesterday I decided to start doing these updates, and here we are at the end of August.
Let’s take a quick look at this month, as it has once again been filled with great excitement in the Lord.
Firstly, by the time you read this, I will already be in East London and been part of another great event for the Lord, Mighty Men Border.
I think this was the event I was most looking forward to, as I was afforded the privilege of being one of the speakers over the weekend. An update will surely follow, but know this: ground will be taken for the Lord, fires will be started in the hearts and lives of men, and movement will follow this event, involving men of all ages stepping into their roles as sons of God.
Wednesday Outreaches
A big thank you from my side to every person and donor who has stepped up to allow The Heart of the Father Foundation to continue living out their instruction from the Lord.
These outreaches have grown greatly, and we’ve seen the numbers just continue to increase.
During this month, I’ve adapted some of the styles. The messages revolved mainly around how we’ve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but through His amazing grace, He made a plan to redeem us through a covenant with Himself on our behalf.
What an amazing God, who gave Jesus for us.
We’ve now also begun getting them to pray for one another, right there, before we hand out anything and get moving.
I’ve noticed a little shift in the mindsets, even though we still have a long way to go.
Broken spirits caused by years of life need intentionality and oh so much of the Father’s love.
Door of Hope
We visited Door of Hope again this month and had quite a bit of fun with the kids.
Lekker hamburgers, popcorn, soccer, card games—it was a day filled with fun yet again.
I must mention a short moment of learning again that iron sharpening iron is not always a fun emotion, especially if it’s a moment between two brothers who love each other dearly.
But how great is God, bringing us together again shortly after, only to realize that the devil tried to break something and God just made it stronger.
My brother, you know who you are. Thank you.
Growing and Equipping
This month saw me take a very looooooong bus ride to Joburg for an amazing weekend of not just learning more about the authority and power we have in the Lord, but also putting it into action and seeing people get healed through the laying on of hands.
I met a new friend on the bus who recognized me from the Mighty Men Fish River conference, and even there, God just dropped in and grew a man who I know will shift many things around him for the Lord.
Due to an emergency involving a friend, I was also called to step up and serve a beautiful community in the West Rand by teaching and reminding them of their identity in Christ.
Making some new friends, meeting some for the first time, and just being blessed.
A five-star treatment for me.
Sundays at the Pier
These have become fun, but due to unexpected circumstances and preparation for the travel to come, I was not able to be there every Sunday.
But know this: when I get back, we’ll be tackling these hard again, and I shall also start sharing details for those who want to come and join in the fun.
Ministry Opportunities
These have not yet shifted in the way I had hoped, but thank you to those who have reached out. Please continue to reach out to me.
Looking Ahead to September
Very early in September, there are some very exciting things happening.
I get to serve the people in East London as I stay behind after MMC for a week to do just this.
I get to baptize some very special people in my life—watch this space—and I get to celebrate a Mom who played a very vital role in the life of a son who now gives up everything for the Lord.
It’s my Mom.
There are some other planned events happening in September that I want to attend, but they’re all over the place and I’m not sure if the logistics will work out for me to attend them all.
There’s an event in Cape Town, just before that in East London, and at the end of the month in Potchefstroom.
This all has to do with equipping, growing, and just getting together with other children of the Lord.
Give me a shout if you want some details to join in.
Thank You
A heartfelt thanks to every person who’s taken any amount of time, in any shape or form, for and on behalf of Left Field Sessions.
Every prayer, action, rand, and supply has caused more seed to be planted for God’s Kingdom, and He will bring the increase and you will receive a harvest.
Should it have been placed on your heart to partner with what God is doing through this ministry, please feel free to reach out via email or mobile, or visit my Linktree where you'll find all my social platforms, along with the support links at the bottom.
Final Thought
Please continue to stand with me in prayer.
Please pray for everything The Heart of the Father Foundation is doing in our local community.
Please pray for Uncle Angus Buchan, Shalom Ministries, and the Mighty Men Conferences to continue to call out and bring men into their God-given identities and authority.
Please also continue to pray for me—for my health, provision, and growth in all areas.
Thank you for continuing to walk with me on this journey.
Much love and so many blessings for you,
Juan
Stop Waiting. Step Out.
You don't have to know everything before you go. You don't have to be perfect before you speak. And you don't have to be fearless before you step out.
Jesus didn't say, “If you're ready, go.” He said, “As you go.”
You may miss an opportunity. You may get nervous. You may feel like you dropped the ball. But don't let yesterday's hesitation stop today's obedience.
Get back up. Learn. Grow. Go again.
The Gospel doesn't need perfect people. It needs obedient people willing to carry the fire of Jesus into the places they already go every day.
Stop waiting to be ready. Step out. Tell somebody about Jesus. Pray for somebody. Love somebody. Be the reason somebody encounters Him today.
Let's go.
Don't Understand. Just Obey.
God never asked you to understand the miracle—He asked you to trust His Word and step out in obedience.

Stop waiting until everything makes sense. If Jesus said it, step out, obey, and trust Him with the how.
As You Go, Preach
Jesus didn't say “if you go”—He said “as you go.” The Gospel isn't optional; it's our commission.

I love this verse.
Often, people nitpick this one incorrectly, especially when they question the bad things that happen in the world or compare how harsh God was in the Old Testament with the New.
God hasn't changed.
What we sometimes look at incorrectly is the sacrifice that was given for all that same bad behaviour. God probably would've destroyed the earth ten times over, like in the days of Noah, if it wasn't for the plan He made to save us from His wrath because of our actions.
Because of the blood of Jesus, which paid for all, God now sees us through this blood covenant. This covenant, which most people don't learn to understand properly or aren't taught properly, changed everything in terms of our relationship with the Father.
This is why He might "look" different today than He did then, but He is still the same.
God loved people then too. There are many examples of this, even people standing up so God's grace would prevail. Look at Abraham and S***m and Gomorrah. Look at Jonah and Nineveh.
God is the same.
And He loves you so very dearly, perfectly.
Take some time today to think about that. The God who loved then is the God who loves you now.
Father, thank You for being the same. Thank You for making a plan to save us from death through Jesus. Please help me to understand this covenant better so that I can walk the way You intended for me. In Jesus' Name, amen.
