Minimum N3
Trade Test
Electrical installation background
Working knowledge of SHEQ
Good knowledge of the energy distribution system, in terms of installation and maintenance.
Good knowledge of electrical HV network and substations/pylons, in terms of installation and maintenance.
Other relevant electrical courses (Earthing, Low Voltage)
Advantageous – Operating on single phase and three phase motors
Great interpersonal skills and team work
Clear Criminal record

Duties

Maintaining and Construction LV connection
Keeping up with general weekly and daily schedules
Deliver consistent and high quality work utilizing site standard methodologies and materials.
Review and offer suggestions to the project manager's schedule and implement with little or minimal direction.
Adhere to safety policy and practices, and create a positive and encouraging work atmosphere.
Willingness and ability to become certified in department mandated certifications (i.e. - First Aid / CPR).
Available after hours, as is reasonable, for emergencies.

Duties
1. Lead the team in ensuring that tasks are executed as per client’s requirement and that installation procedures are followed.
2. Ensure site has tools and materials needed for day’s task.
3. Directly responsible for the signing off on permits and inspections.
4. Ensures all tools and materials are maintained and safeguarded
5. Managing general weekly and daily schedules
6. Deliver consistent and high quality work utilizing site standard methodologies and materials.
7. Monitor and supervise workers on the site.
8. Collecting and signing all team daily reports
9. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of sites, including leading and managing the team.
10. Review and offer suggestions to the project manager's schedule and implement with little or minimal direction.
11. Adhere to safety policy and practices, and create a positive and encouraging work atmosphere.
12. Willingness and ability to become certified in department mandated certifications (i.e. - First Aid / CPR).
13. Available after hours, as is reasonable, for emergencies.
14. Ensure proper Operation and maintenance of site vehicles.
