Two beautiful valleys in the foothills of the Klein Karoo and in Plett are the homes of our Toy Project women who handstitch our shweshwe and linen toys.

The Groenfontein Toy Project began in a beautiful valley in the foothills of the Swartberg in the Klein Karoo in response to the high levels of unemployment in the area. Gradually we trained 12 women to make these beautiful Shweshwe and Mungo fabric Toys by hand.
