Heartstrings is a Christian, community based organisation. Our vision is to empower people with hope and dignity in a variety of ways. Definition 1. Definition 2.

When my husband Michael and I go anywhere the one thing that
burdens our hearts is seeing people without hope. We are continuously thinking of ways to create opportunities to
enable a person to move from despair to hope and from apathy to empowerment. This is not only a mind-set of the poverty stricken but a majority
of really amazing people feel that the little they could do would not make a dif

Standing together for the protection of children❤️.

Paula and Summer were honoured to be invited by one of the teachers from the crèches we support to take part in this important community march. Led and organised by local teachers, the protest brought together children, families, and community members to raise awareness about child protection and to speak out against child abuse.
It was inspiring to see the community unite with one voice, advocating for the safety, dignity, and well-being of every child. Together, we can help create a future where every child is protected, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive.

A small donation, a meaningful impact❤️.
Thank you to everyone helping us provide nappies for families in our community.

This sweet little boy was born with a club foot, and his mom has been trying her best to get him the help he needs. After taking him to the hospital for treatment, he came back in even more pain, with his little foot covered in sores.

We were able to assist his mom with transport to get him back to the hospital so he can receive the care he deserves. We also sent her home with nappies and a food parcel to help ease the burden a little.

Please keep this precious baby and his mom in your prayers as they navigate this journey.

These groceries were blessed to a mom from the local community.

Our prayer is that it brought her a little relief, a little comfort, and a reminder that she is seen and supported❤️.

We’re proud to continue our support of Philikade, a partnership that has grown over the past few years🧡.
Whenever we can, we donate items to assist in their incredible work — including clothing, bedding, kitchen essentials, and medical equipment such as moon boots and other much-needed supplies. It’s a relationship built on care, consistency, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
Thank you to everyone who helps us keep this support going. Together, we’re able to bring comfort and dignity to those who need it most.

Community upliftment starts with supporting one another 🌿.
We recently had the privilege of donating items to Last Hope, an inspiring organisation run by women in the molweni community. They help distribute clothes and bedding to those who need.
Their dedication to helping others is truly powerful, and we’re honored to contribute to the work they do.
Together, we can continue to empower, uplift, and create opportunities for those around us.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. 🧡

We’re so grateful for the continued support from our community 💛.
Last week, our team spent time carefully sorting through generous donations for our baby home. Every item — from clothing to essentials — was checked, organized, and prepared with love. It’s in these quiet, behind-the-scenes moments that we’re reminded how powerful kindness can be.
Thank you to everyone who contributes. Your support means the world!

Hope for Little Hands 💛

We’re grateful to have blessed four amazing moms with these special care buckets—each one thoughtfully packed with essentials to help care for their little ones. From baby basics to practical support items, every bucket is a reminder that they are not alone on this journey.

It’s more than just supplies—it’s love in action, support in a season that matters most, and a small way we can make a big difference.

We were also able to provide each mom with two packs of nappies each.
