So this
Thought we will share one of the many cases we finished recently.
Patient complained of ill fitting long standing crowns. She was also not happy that her smile seemed "crooked and flat for years".
Following a long consultation of her expectations and what could be done....we ( patient and myself) couldn't be happier with the end result.
I am truly proud of this patient. It was a long journey as root canals had to be done , core build ups, and then a smile analysis , preps and delivery.
She was so patient throughout the process and so ecstatic with her end result.
I just loved her being able to smile again confidently , considering she shied away from smiling despite her high profile job.
Truly love changing lives with making memorable smile! Ps : patient was happy for us to share her photos.

I like to always start the week being Thankful and Grateful for all that I have experienced in the past and pray for the GRATITUDE MOMENTS yet to COME.
So I was wondering what to post for my posts....and I see this photo sent by one of my mom patients of her son Lubanzi.
And Yes she gave me permission to post this!
I have been Lubanzi's dentist now for two years. His parents joined my surgery after being referred to me.
He was terrified always and always needed to be with his dad.
The last two appointments however was different, he told his parents he needs to visit me as he was in pain. He went on to have two teeth that where beyond restoration , extracted. He did not even flinch but just trusted me and the process. His dad did not have to be present too , although I told him to stay. After treating him on both occasions he asked if he could give me a hug . These little gestures from my younger patients do truly make my day.
So what exactly is this photo. His mum said I have inspired him to be a dentist. Lol!
He decided to wear a mask, glasses like me( that's not his glasses) and proceed on to consult with his gran and his younger brothers shouting out words like cavities, etc .LOL!

It made my day !!!!!
Not only am I thankful that I get to change people's lives via their smiles but I also get to inspire my younger patients to consider being a dentist as a career choice.

A case in point is one of the "Take a girl child to work" last year , got 6 As and is now studying Dentistry at UWC.

So with so much gratitude , I thank all my patients for their continued support and kindness.
