From the gravel roads to unexpected breakdowns, tow trucks, treasure hunts, laughter, and legendary stories around the fire — the very first Rattle & Rust Rally was everything we hoped it would be... and more!

📸 We saw:
✅ Cars where they probably shouldn't have been
✅ Drivers where they definitely shouldn't have been
✅ Tortoises, old ruins, hidden gems and incredible scenery
✅ Teams dressed in the craziest outfits imaginable
✅ Smiles from start to finish
✅ Strangers becoming friends

Some made it to the finish under their own power...
Some arrived on a tow truck... 😆
But EVERYONE arrived with a story to tell!

The Rattle & Rust Rally is a South African motoring event held in Mossel Bay and built around classic vehicles, adventure, camping and community.

𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 | Rattle & Rust Rally 📅

Keep this schedule handy so you can stay in the loop for every moment of the rally:
• 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 : Gates open 𝟬𝟴:𝟬𝟬𝗮𝗺 for registration followed by a welcome braai with music and good vibes.
• 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 : The 150km adventure route starts at 07:00 with lunch at Bonniedale and afternoon donuts.
• 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟴 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 : Full throttle action all day with the auction and prize giving starting at 19:00.
• 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟵 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 : We finish strong with breakfast and team building from 09:00. 🥓 🔧 🏁
