Om 'n besigheid te bestuur is regtig moeilik.

Wat hulle nie vir jou sê nie, is dat dit erge stres en angs kan veroorsaak, en jou geestelik dreineer tot die punt van depressie in selfs die mees ontspanne mense.

Mense sal oor jou praat, jou met ander vergelyk, jou gebruik, hulle sal jou as 'n diens beskou en nie meer 'n persoon nie.

Baie mense sal afslag verwag en mense sal jou en jou harde werk minder waardeer as 'n groot kettingwinkel of maatskappy.

Jy moet bekommerd wees oor as jy vergeet om iemand te e-pos/boodskappe terug te stuur, gaan hulle d**k dit was doelbewus? Het jy hulle teleurgestel? Sal hulle dit teen jou hou? Wanneer jy in werklikheid net nie by almal se boodskappe en e-posse kan uitkom nie.

Om 'n suksesvolle besigheid te begin en te bestuur plaas ongelooflike druk op persoonlike lewens en verhoudings, waarvan baie misluk omdat daar net dikwels geen balans tussen werk en lewe is nie.

Jy moet die direkteur, die werker, die admin, die bemarkingspan, die rekenmeester, die skoonmaker wees..... Dit alles terwyl jy 'n ouer, 'n man of 'n vrou, familieondersteuning, vriend...

Daar is 'n rede waarom jy nie sien dat baie mense ná 5-10 jaar sukses behaal in klein besighede nie. As hulle suksesvol is, is hulle oorweldig.

Dit eis 'n tol. Dit is vrek uitputtend. Veral die afgelope paar jaar toe so baie buite ons beheer was.

Hier is 'n klein herinnering dat ons net normale mense is met 'n gejaagde lewens.

Wees vriendelik, wees geduldig, ondersteun klein besighede …….en hopelik sal meer van ons bybly!

Mossel Bay, are you ready for this year's Garden Route Expo & Outdoor Show?

Taking place from Friday, 28 April, to Monday, 1 May, at Bartelsfontein Farm on Route 327 outside Mossel Bay.

The Expo includes the following:

The UniQ Home Expo, where you can find locally made arts and crafts and anything else you can use inside your home or business.

The Beauty Expo for the ladies will include complete makeovers and tips on fashion and make-up. There will be massages and beauty treatments on offer.

The outdoor show, with the 4x4 Expo, offers camping, driving, construction, equipment and anything else you will find outdoors.

There will be a Kids' Zone, camping facilities and an Anti-Bullying Academy colour fun run on Monday, 1 May, at 09:00.

The line-up of the best South African artists includes Elvis Blue, Snotkop, Jan Jan, Mathys Roets and Manie Jackson.

Want to get to know Mossel Bay a little better? Our Town Experience Walking Route is the perfect way to see our in action! Get all your family and friends together and discover the treasures our incredible town has to share! There is even 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 in it for you!

· Start your adventure at the Mossel Bay Tourism office on the corner of Market and Church Streets and pick up a map.
· Visit each of the 12 icons on the map and collect the missing stickers from the relevant stations along the way. Put the stickers in their designated spots.
· Hand in your completed map at The Town House Mossel Bay.
· One of our friendly representatives will check that you have completed your map correctly, and if you have, you will immediately receive a lucky draw prize.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗯𝘀!

There is a limited number of maps available, so make sure you don't miss out! The walk is approximately 5km long, so put on your walking shoes (and a dash of sunscreen) and start exploring! This route will introduce you to a variety of sights to see, things to do, and food and drink to enjoy, so take your time. Don't forget to take your phone or camera along to take some snapshots and share your adventure in the comments.
