Our final day gave us one more opportunity to connect, share ideas and showcase how technology can help turn real challenges into practical solutions.

Our Chief Growth & Strategy Officer, Mr Julius Segole, took the stage to unpack our offerings: SmartGov for Citizens, SmartGov for Admin, SmartGov for eServices and SmartMunic - and how they can support more connected, efficient and citizen-focused government services.

Our Developer Advocate, Ashleigh Mabaire, also showcased Shesha, our low-code platform that helps organisations build and customise digital applications more efficiently, demonstrating how we can turn ideas into practical digital solutions.

We also had the opportunity to engage with young people and share more about our graduate opportunities, connecting with the next generation of talent in technology.

As we close out the week, we’re leaving with valuable conversations, new connections, fresh perspectives and plenty of inspiration to take forward.

Celebration of Heritage Day gave us the opportunity to celebrate the cultures, traditions and stories that make each of us unique.



From the colourful outfits and delicious food to the conversations and shared experiences, it was a great reminder of the diversity that strengthens our workplace every day.



To add a bit of fun to the celebrations, our team also took part in a South Africa quiz, testing their knowledge of our country’s history, culture and heritage, with prizes awarded to our top participants.

Another impactful day of conversations, insights and collaboration as we continue engaging with leaders and innovators shaping the future of digital government.

Today, our Chief Growth & Strategy Officer, Mr Julius Segole, took to the stage to share insights on “Building AI Agents, Intelligent Automation and Citizen Services”, exploring how AI and intelligent automation can help transform the way government services are delivered and experienced by citizens.

We also had the opportunity to join our partner, Microsoft, for a session on “Citizen Engagement Reimagined with AI”, where Mr Segole shared insights into how AI can create new opportunities for more connected and meaningful citizen engagement, and how we can support organisations on this journey.

For us, collaboration is an important part of driving meaningful digital transformation. By bringing together technology, innovation and practical public-sector experience, we can explore new ways to address real challenges and improve the way organisations connect with and serve their citizens.

This recognition is a meaningful reflection of our commitment to using technology to help create more connected, accessible and inclusive digital experiences within the public sector.

For us, digital transformation is about more than technology. It’s about creating solutions that help organisations connect with the people they serve, improve access to services and contribute to a more digitally inclusive South Africa.
