Sharing the road means making space for everyone. When running or walking on roads, avoid moving side by side. Instead, go single file when vehicles approach or when space is limited.
A simple change in formation can make a big difference in keeping everyone safe.

Your ears are one of your best safety tools. Listening to music while running or walking can prevent you from hearing approaching vehicles, cyclists, or other hazards.
Stay aware of your surroundings and save the playlist for after your workout.

Make yourself impossible to miss by wearing reflective clothing and carrying a flashlight or headlamp when running/walking early in the morning or evening.
Being visible gives drivers more time to see you and helps keep every run or walk a safe one.
Shine bright and stay safe!

When you're running or walking on roads without sidewalks, always face oncoming traffic. This gives you a clear view of approaching vehicles and allows you to react quickly if needed.
Your safety starts with being aware of what's ahead. Stay alert, stay visible, and enjoy every stride.
