Hip Stability Focus

This exercise challenges balance, hip control, and pelvic stability while teaching the body to move from the hip rather than the lower back.

Why riders need this:

🐎 Improves single-leg balance and stability
🐎 Strengthens glutes and hip stabilisers
🐎 Encourages pelvic control and symmetry
🐎 Helps riders stay centred instead of collapsing to one side
🐎 Builds confidence and control after injury or periods of weakness

πŸ’‘ The goal isn’t how far you rotate β€” it’s how well you control the movement.

πŸ’ͺ Stable hips create a stronger foundation for riding.

Bear Kettlebell Pull-Through

A great exercise for building core stability, shoulder strength, and anti-rotation control.

Start in a bear position and pull the kettlebell across with the opposite hand, while keeping your hips and shoulders as still as possible.

🐎 Why riders need it:
β€’ Improves core control
β€’ Encourages a quieter seat
β€’ Develops stability while movement occurs around you

πŸ‘‰ Stay level. Resist the twist.

πŸ’ͺ The horse moves. You stay stable.
