Another strong step forward for Terex Franna in Southern Africa.
We have successfully supplied 2 × Terex Franna FR17C Pick & Carry Cranes into platinum mining operations within South Africa’s Bushveld Platinum Belt.

Selected for dedicated pick-and-carry applications in demanding mining and smelter environments, the FR17C continues to prove itself where manoeuvrability, efficiency, and versatility matter most. Its compact footprint and ability to operate without outriggers make it especially effective in confined and congested plant areas where conventional lifting methods can become restrictive.

The units will support a range of operational requirements including maintenance work, shutdown support, workshop handling, plant support, and materials movement across site.

Our sales manager, Marcus, recently delivered another Genie Z-45/25J to a long-standing client.

In 2024, we supplied a new unit to replace their 1999 model. Now, two years later, we’ve delivered a second new one, taking over from their 2006 unit. Two new machines on site, each replacing older units that had done years of service.

Supplying a 17m diesel boom to support the sheeting and column work on the warehouse structure. The unit has been on site for the past month and a half, helping crews work safely and efficiently at height as the building steadily comes together.
