Learning Time Has Never Been So Much Fun! ⏰
Our Grade 2 learners have been hard at work exploring both analogue and digital time as part of their Mathematics lessons. Through hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences, they have been developing the important skill of reading, understanding, and telling time confidently.
Learning about time helps learners build independence, strengthens their problem-solving abilities, and equips them with practical life skills they will use every day. From reading clocks to understanding daily schedules and routines, our Grade 2s are laying the foundation for effective time management and responsibility.
We are so proud of the enthusiasm and dedication they have shown while mastering this valuable skill!

This week, our Grade 3 learners explored the importance of recycling and reusing materials to help protect our environment.
Using empty milk cartons, cardboard, and colourful paper, they transformed everyday items into beautiful vases! 🌸 Through this creative activity, learners developed their artistic skills while discovering how simple materials can be given a new purpose.

Our Grade 12 learners at Curro Midrand Sagewood recently participated in their Life Sciences Practical Examination, an important component of their preparation for the final National Senior Certificate examinations.
The practical examination provided learners with an opportunity to apply the scientific knowledge and investigative skills they have developed throughout the year. During the assessment, learners were required to conduct experiments, make careful observations, record data accurately, and analyse their findings using scientific methods.
The examination tested not only their understanding of Life Sciences concepts but also their ability to think critically, solve problems, and work systematically in a laboratory environment. Learners demonstrated commitment, focus, and professionalism as they completed the practical tasks under examination conditions.
Practical investigations play a vital role in Life Sciences education, allowing learners to connect theory with real-world scientific applications. Through these experiences, learners develop valuable skills such as observation, data interpretation, evaluation, and scientific communication.
We commend our Grade 12 learners for their dedication and hard work throughout the preparation process. Their positive attitude and determination were evident during the examination, and we are proud of the effort they continue to invest in their academic journey.
We wish all our Grade 12 learners every success as they continue preparing for their final examinations and future studies.
