There is a young lady that I remember meeting some years ago. At the time she was selling glasses, very unique Toda Products. We used to chat entrepreneurial things at the time when I was still passionate about connecting business to business via the group The Continent Connector Those that know the type of markets we were collaborating to establish 🇿🇦👌🏾 will identify with what I am talking about. It has been great to see progress throughout the years. An amazing woman, so young ❤️❤️❤️

I know it's late but this is one woman I saw growing her business when we connected before I left GP, and even now in 2024 I saw so much progress. An entrepreneur, a business woman, she was the founder of Toda Products. She died. I discovered that via TikTok just now, I am shook..... ! May she rest in power Bongiwe Khanyisile Thela 💔💔💔

My brief view on what DJ Zinhle said about Unemployment and Unemployability. Noted, unemployment is a sensitive issue. Two points worth mentioning:
1. Unemployability - let's start here, the meaning is *lacking skills, abilities, or qualities that are necessary to a) GET and b) KEEP a job. Watch the link I shared. A common problem in the workplace or even during the recruiting stage is the attitude and the learning culture that the person you are recruiting or have hired. You can go to the same retail brand and two separate venues but not receive the same experience.

2. EVP, Employee Value Proposition - having EVP strategy is important for every business that is hiring. Give the potential employee, the benefits, support, culture etc that they should expect when they decide to work for your organisation. This I specifically touch on because DJ Zinhle mentioned how difficult she found it to get staff for some of her shops.

Side note:As an entrepreneur and business woman or man, learn to have these sorts of things in place especially as you are growing and the business is evolving.

Pricing your product can be daunting!

Consider these -
1. Time used to produce service or product
2. Material used to produce
3. Expenses incurred to produce
4. Mark-up to add for profit
There is a level of detail that goes into this. Value your service and product appropriately.

Pricing your products is one of the cornerstone decisions you’ll make, because it impacts almost every aspect of your business. Your pricing is a deciding factor in everything from cash flow, to profit margins, to which expenses you can afford to cover for the business. You could find yourself stuck on your pricing strategy especially launching a new service or product. The best pricing data you can get is from launching and testing with real customers.

You are having an amazing month when things are flowing in your business. You are signing new clients, your current customers are spreading the word about your business. Things are going so well that you pinch yourself to make sure you are not dreaming.

Then, the next month arrives. Business slows down. Potential clients decide to use someone else. One thing after another just doesn’t go your way. .. Sounds Familiar? How do you motivate yourself?
