I will be doing a charity walk on Saturday to raise funds for a NPO that I'm involved with, that's starting a drug rehabilitation centre in our area. Looking for donations per km walked, from R1, R10, or even R100 per km, or whatever, you get the idea, any amount welcome. The walk is this Saturday only, and distance will be logged on my fit bit watch. We having some fun, but it's for a really good cause, if you would like to participate, please indicate your per km donation on a personal whatsapp message. I will post the results and give payment details after Saturday. There will be no checking up on your pledges, if you happy to honor your initial donation you can, but if we out perform your predictions you can alter your donation as you wish. πŸ˜‰.

"I want to eat healthy, but when I am with family and friends I have to eat what they give me"

I do not know if you've heard this before? And yes I get it, sometimes famliy members, although they do not show it, but as soon as they leave, they ask questions...

Why did they not eat my potato salad? They always eat pudding afterward?

Reality is, if you want get your healthy eating lifestyle going, you're gonna have to start cutting back on some food that keep your weight in the same place, or that may affect your performance during workouts, and if that means you have to skip out on pudding on a Sunday lunch, then do it... I believe that people who want to see you get healthier, would make an effort to respect your new lifestyle, it makes it way easier to stay committed.

So for everyone out there who knows someone that wants to start eating healthy, stop buying them chocolates and carbonated drinks or chips or whatever the case may be, your influence dictates the other persons commitment.
