This was a very special dress for me to design and make for Fundi Zwane. I love the fusion of Western and African designs, so this classy silhouette, with an appreciation of Xhosa culture in the detailing, felt very true to my aesthetic.

.lovemina is live!! I have had the privilege of being involved in the design work for this wonderful project! It has been such fun helping create a gorgeous doll in all the colors of our nation and design cute outfits with Tilana! She is inspirational and I'm so glad Ethulo Creative gets to be part of this story!

I added a little African flair to outfits my parents and uncle wore to the gala dinner at a church conference they attended earlier this month. Uncle Duane returned to the USA with a skirt I made for my aunt and she wore it today. Representing South African fashion in Minneapolis, MN!!
