🚜🐄🌿 What an amazing day on the farm! 🌿🐄🚜
Our little farmers had the best time on their outing to Karkloof, where they brought our Farm Animals theme to life through hands-on learning and adventure.
The children got to see how a dairy farm works, meet the adorable calves, let one suck on their fingers, and even climb into the different tractors to explore these impressive farm machines up close! There were lots of smiles and laughter as they played in the silage and slid down it with excitement.
We ended the day with a beautiful picnic amongst the avocado plantations, overlooking the horses, dam, and stunning countryside views.
What a wonderful way to learn, explore, and create special memories! 🐮🐴🚜💚
🚲🌍 Happy World Bicycle Day! 🌍🚲
What a wheel-y fun day we had celebrating World Bicycle Day! Our little riders had an absolute blast bringing their bicycles to school and showing off their cycling skills.
Riding a bicycle is not only great fun, but it also helps children develop balance, coordination, confidence, and a love for staying active. We are so proud of all our young cyclists who participated today!
💛 Slipper Day 2026 💛
Today our learners proudly took part in Slipper Day by purchasing their Slipper Day stickers and wearing their comfiest slippers to school in support of the Reach For A Dream Foundation.
The Reach For A Dream Foundation helps bring hope, joy, and strength to children living with life-threatening illnesses by fulfilling their dreams and creating special memories for them and their families.
We are so proud to have been part of this wonderful initiative and to have contributed towards making dreams come true, one slipper at a time! ✨
Our Penguin Class 🐧 (Grade RR) had the most exciting outing to Greendale Shopping Centre today as part of our “Shopping and Food” theme! 🛒🍎🧁
The children had such a special day exploring and learning through real-life experiences:
🦷 A visit and ride in the dentist chair at MAK Dental.
💧 A look at the water purification system at Oasis Water.
📚 Exploring the Book Fair and scanning barcodes.
🎈 A fun walk through Crazy Store, where they were generously gifted helium balloons and helped purchase their own Slipper Day stickers.
🛍️ Shopping for cupcake ingredients at Greendale SUPERSPAR, where they were also guided through the bakery and treated to apples and muffins!
A huge thank you to MAK Dental, Oasis Water, The Book Fair, Crazy Store, and Greendale SUPERSPAR for your kindness, generosity, and time spent making this such a memorable learning experience for our little Penguins. 💙

We had such a crazy busy start to the year that we didn’t even get to do any introductions…
Teacher Emily has been with us since January, she looks after our Penguins (Grd RR) class, getting them ready and prepped for Grd R.
She is pure sunshine ☀️ and we are the luckiest to have her 🤗
May merriment!
We have welcomed some new faces into our beautiful school family 🤗 we have celebrated some little birthdays 🥳 and we play and play some more!
