Today is the day when the world was shaken on its very foundations. On the 24th November 1859 Charles Darwin published his "On the Origin of Species" and things have never been quite the same. Darwin is a contender for one of the greatest scientists of all time, and certainly as Newton is to physics Darwin is to biology. Some people still have to forgive him but for life scientists and earth scientists he is revered.
We have a portrait of Darwin on our Wall of Fame at the DinoZone. So we also revere him, amazing genius that he was.
For all things dinosaur be sure to follow us here and visit us at the DinoZone at Piggly Wiggly on the R103 at Lions River in the KZN Midlands.
A walk down Dinosaur Alley. It's an 11 billion year journey but you will make it if you keep going. And there is a dinosaur to greet you when you arrive. And that's not even the half of it. See you at the DinoZone
An 11 billion year journey down Dinosaur Alley will bring you to the DinoZone. What a journey it will be. But you will have to visit us to take the journey and find out about Earth's history and how we got to be here.

A pivotal moment may change the world. Like a 10 km diameter asteroid bulleting into Earth 66 million years ago. But sawing, cutting, grinding and sweating can also change it. Which we have just done at the DinoZone. And don't forget that we did it for you so why not pay us a visit to show your appreciation. It may change your world too.
And whilst you are about it, go check out the Bone Diggers Club. It's all about dinosaurs, but it's more than that. You will have to watch the short movie to find out how much more. So being the explorer that you are, why not explore what the DinoZone has to offer. Here's the link

It's a sad day. Woke up this morning to learn that Jane Goodall had passed away. The world is a little dimmer. RIP Dr Goodall

The road is open now. Five lanes of beautiful blacktop to transport you to the promised land aka the KZN Midlands. There is snow on the high peaks, fires in the grate, food on the stove and a dinosaur called Marmaduke awaiting your arrival.
And when you get home after such a wonderful time spent in the hills you will have rosy cheeks that will last a day or two, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Brought to you by the DinoZone. Our perspectives stretch back 230 million years.
See you at Piggly Wiggley this weekend for fun and dinosaurs.

It was Sir Ken Robinson in one of his Ted Talks who said that we need to teach kids creativity and problem solvinh as it was the only thing available to us in a rapidly changing world. We don't even know what the world will look like in a years time, let alone in 10 years.
Even worse, we are being constantly distracted by cell phones and dopamine hits. And we are allowing the same thing to happen to our kids.
But we have a solution. It's the Bone Diggers Club. A fascination with dinosaurs makes for smart kids, and on top of that, we teach life skills and problem solving skills. And provides tonnes of creative activities for you to enjoy with the kids, especially during those interminably ling school holidays.
So head on over to the DinoZone and preregister for the Bone Diggers Club, which may be the most important thing you do today. And we shall give you what is arguably the best colouring book on Earth for your troubles. It's entirely free, and it also helps us gauge interest and get feedback from you.
