In 1988 Navi Stables was formed in Harare, Zimbabwe by Ivan Moore with the support of Mike and Carol Fewster. As a result of some early success the yard grew from a mere 6 horses to a thriving 60 horses. During the time Navi Stables was based in Zimbabwe, the yard secured much success and had the privilege of winning many feature races. In 2002 Navi stables made the bold move to Kwa-Zulu Natal, So

UNITED NATION goes from start to finish to win his 6th career victory yesterday at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He was given a perfect ride from Mxolisi Mbuto. Two winners from two runners yesterday, giving the yard a 100% strike rate at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.
First up was TARA STAR getting up to win her 7th career victory. She was given a top ride from Mxolisi Mbuto. Congratulations to her owners Messers L R Whiteford, G M Grant and The Gram (Nom: Garth Gericke). Well done to her breeder Mr Bruce Le Roux.
Our second winner of the day was the fast finishing CAPTAIN VENTURA. She was given the best ride of the day from Mickaelle Michel. Congratulations to her owners Classic Racing (Pty) Ltd (Nom: Mr Willie Pieters), Messers J B Bothma, R de Jager & T Teessen, J P Du Sart, Pramodh Ora and K Narainsamy.
