A few photos from the last four days spent wandering around the Cathedral Peak region of the Drakensberg ⛰️
We tackled Tseketseke Pass and Camel Pass, spending most of our time doing what hikers do best, voluntarily making life difficult in exchange for ridiculous views 🥾Over the course of the trip we spent a night in Tseketseke Hut, a night under canvas, and rounded everything off with a night in the legendary Roland’s Cave, which has to be one of the best overnight spots in the entire Berg.
The route packs in a bit of everything. Big passes, escarpment views, caves, wild camping, cliff edges, and enough scenery to keep your camera busy and your legs slightly annoyed 😂 It’s one of those hikes where every day feels completely different from the last.
The good news? We’re heading back here again from 27–30 August 👀
The bad news? There are only 3 spots left.
So if spending four days wandering through some of the best scenery in South Africa sounds like your kind of thing, get in touch with us at [email protected] for more details.
August is shaping up to be an absolute monster of a month for us ⛰️
We’ve got everything from beginner-friendly adventures to proper mountain sufferfests on the calendar. Big views, steep passes, wild campsites, summit missions, questionable decision making, and enough kilometres to keep the legs honest.
The best part about the Drakensberg is that no two hikes are ever quite the same. One weekend you’re wandering along the escarpment watching the sunset, the next you’re crawling up a pass wondering why mountains insist on being vertical 😂
Whether you’re looking for your first overnight hike or you’re the kind of person who sees a steep contour line and gets excited, we’ve probably got something for you.

Well, someone asked if we could recreate something like this and well…
We are nothing if not professionals in making questionable ideas happen.
The spot that bro knew was indeed good 🤝
Welcome to Mnweni Pass, where the climb is steep, the legs are burning, and suddenly all of that becomes irrelevant the moment this view appears 🥾
It’s one of those places that makes you stop mid-sufferfest and think, “okay fine, maybe this was worth it.” The cliffs are ridiculous, the valleys seem to stretch on forever, and the sense of scale is something photos never quite capture properly.
The good news? We’ll be dragging ourselves back up here again from 10–12 July 😂
We still have 4 spots available, so if you’d like to experience this view firsthand rather than through your phone screen, now’s your chance.
