Celebrating World Art Day with children in the Early Childhood Development (ECD) sector is highly relevant to LETCEE’s mission of fostering holistic, quality learning experiences. Art provides young children with a powerful means of self-expression, creativity, and communication, especially at a stage where verbal skills are still developing. Through drawing, painting, and creative play, children enhance their fine motor skills, cognitive development, and emotional well-being. For LETCEE, integrating World Art Day into ECD programmes strengthens our commitment to nurturing curiosity and unlocking each child’s potential, while also encouraging inclusive, play-based learning approaches. It further creates an opportunity for educators and communities to engage meaningfully with children, celebrate diversity, and support developmental milestones in a fun, stimulating, and culturally enriching environment.
