The Ultimate 2-Door Overland Rig.
Over the past few years this 2015 2-door Jeep Wrangler slowly turned into my idea of the perfect compact overland rig. Every part, every upgrade, every late night researching gear or turning spanners was about building something that could go anywhere and carry everything needed for the adventure.
From the Falcon Teraflex lift and 35s to the rooftop tent, drawer system, onboard air, lighting and recovery gear — it was all done with one goal: create a small, capable expedition vehicle that’s always ready to head off the beaten track.
It’s taken me up mountain passes, down long dirt roads and into some incredible camps. The kind of trips that remind you why you built the thing in the first place.
But as with all projects, sometimes the next chapter means letting someone else take the wheel.
So it’s time for this Wrangler to start its next adventure with a new owner who’ll use it the way it was built to be used.

We’re heading to the Easter Jeep Safari 2026!
The full fleet is coming along for the ride — my trusted Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2015 JK and the brand new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 41 JL 2025.
You’ll find them set up on the Trailpod stand from 3–6 April at Gariep Dam.
Both rigs will be on full display, so you can get a proper look at the builds and all the modifications — featuring gear from some of our favorite brands; , , , , 🙌🏻
