Our Story
Meridian Agritech was founded in 2000 due to a demand for quality and innovative post-patent products in the crop protection industry. The company was established with a very lean structure which initially handled all trial work, registration applications and administrative functions in-house. Since the company’s humble beginnings, it has grown significantly into one of the leading suppliers in South Africa. Today we still aim to be an innovative first-to-market post-patent supplier.
The company’s head office is owned and located at Elandsfontein, Johannesburg in Gauteng. A formulation plant forms part of the head office complex and the facility is strategically located to allow cost effective distribution to all parts of South Africa.
Meridian manufactures fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators, seed treatment products and adjuvants.
