Dear Valued Customers and Friends,
After 14 wonderful years of crafting high-quality wood pieces and building meaningful relationships with each of you, I am writing to share some important news: I am semi-retiring from the day-to-day operations of our beloved wood crafting business Designs@.
This decision comes with a deep sense of gratitude and reflection. Your loyalty and long-standing trust and support in our brand have been the true foundation of everything we have achieved. From the early days when you first chose our work to grace your homes, to the many years of repeat business, custom orders, and kind words along the way — thank you. Your support has not only sustained the business but has brought immense joy and purpose to our life. It has been an honor to create for you and to know that our pieces have become part of your stories.
Please know that business will continue as normal and current staff will continue to manufacture. I am not stepping away entirely. I will remain involved in an advisory capacity and still be involved in the sales department as the company transitions to new management and ownership. Our commitment to the quality, craftsmanship, and values that have defined us for over a decade remains unchanged, and I look forward to support the team in this exciting new chapter.
It is with great pleasure that I introduce the new owner, Jezz Dumont, who hails from Texas. Jezz brings a lifelong passion for wood crafting, home decor, and the wooden construction trade at large. He is happily married to his wife from South Africa, and together with their three children they call the beautiful Garden Route home now.
Jezz’s vision is to grow this business into an even larger, family-based company, with himself leading the charge and myself assisting. We are excited about expanding our offerings, bringing fresh ideas to our product line, and continuing to deliver the exceptional craftsmanship you have come to expect — while exploring new ways to serve you even better.
We warmly welcome your feedback and any requests for specific products or designs. Your input has always been invaluable, and it will help shape the future of the business as we evolve together.
