Blitsdruk George is seeking a creative individual to join our design team as a Junior Graphic Designer & DTP Operator.

Duties will include setting up artwork correctly for print. Basic design and layout as well as working on print and finishing machines.

Blitsdruk is a print company based in George, Garden Route. This is a fast paced environment and the successful candidate will have to be able to work fast and under pressure.

Working knowledge of CorelDraw is essential. Industry experience will be to your advantage. Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Heat Transfer, Direct to Garment (DTG), Embroidery, Screen Print and now Direct to Film (DTF)

What is the Difference?

Heat Transfer – Good for small print-runs. Prints are transferred onto the fabric with a heat press. Bright and Bold Colours. The transfer creates a solid coverage, so not recommended for large coverage.

Direct to Garment (DTG) – The printer prints directly onto the fabric which creates a smooth, breathable finish. Works only on white or very light clothing. Great for single prints.

Embroidery – Great for Work Wear, embroidering a logo on the pocket or sleeve looks professional and is very durable.

Screen Print – Best option if you are doing larger volumes in single- or two-colour jobs, not suitable for single prints. Long-lasting.

Direct to Film (DTF) – Vibrant colour and good print quality, works well on light and dark garments.
