A special highlight was connecting with our trusted partner, Schletter, and seeing live demos of solar panel cleaning equipment in action. 🤝

The Solar Training Centre recently had the pleasure of presenting to representatives from the Sarah Baartman, J.B. Marks, and Sundays River Valley Municipalities, along with delegates from the Northern Cape, SunFarming, and SunCybernetics.

We introduced our organisation, shared our journey and experience in renewable energy training, and showcased our range of accredited training programmes and consulting services. 🔋

🌱 The D.E.G. School Garden Programme goes beyond feeding kids — it teaches them to grow their own food.

Born from the F.E.E.D. Porridge Programme, learners and teachers grow fresh organic veggies right at school, cutting costs and boosting nutrition. But the real impact? Kids take these skills home, helping families grow their own gardens too. 🥦🍅

⚡ Specialised solar PV training lands in Zimbabwe!

SUNCybernetics Solar Training Centre, in partnership with Noah Tendayi of Independent Training Management, recently delivered hands-on training to a group of Engineers, Electricians, and Technicians at Zim-Plats. STC has equipped its team with the skills to confidently operate and maintain a 40MW Single Axis Tracking solar PV system.

This kind of specialised, in-country capacity building is exactly what the African energy transition needs: real skills, on real systems, for real projects. 🌍

More training is in the pipeline as Zim-Plats expands its solar PV footprint. Watch this space. ☀️
