Trans Tec SA attending the 25th Congress of the World Association for sexual Health (WAS 2021).
As we are entering a new eara of change, we as the Transgender and Gender Diverse Community in the Western Cape are ensuring that this Congress keep their promise "Leave No One Behind". The time is now where we say enough is enough we will be implementing our own health programmes in this Province. In doing so we trust we can affect change for everyone in South Africa.

This was the beginning of Transgender and Gender Diverse Inclusiveness. Founder and Executive Director, Gita Marshant November working on a HIV Prevention and Treatment Programme designed for Transgender and Gender Diverse people at that time. During this time she was busy pouring all her lives work in to this programme. She was employed under the Organisation that received the grant to implement this programme, putting Trans Voices first.

This however did not happen as promised, once the programme reached it peak, people on the Ground doing the work was the people most affected but means of reaching targets and loose sight of the Qualitative work that has already been poured into this work. Transgender Women from across South Africa has participated in this process.

Gita Marshant November was called to order as the Organisation themselves wanted to take credit for the work she and her community has put in making this Dialouge a success with one of our biggest Allies in Health, Dr Norma French Mbombo, we call her the Florence Nightingale of our time, as we as a Transgender and Gender Diverse Community salute her for the groundbreaking work she and her administration has shown thus far.

We are claiming our space and we want to say thank you for showing us the path, as we will be embarking the journey with you to get all our siblings in each town of the Western Cape Vaccinated against Covid19.

You and your administration have the full support and commitment of Trans Tec SA and her Siblings in the Western Cape, and we trust that when we come calling on your assistance you would show us the same heart ❤ you did when you started your 16 Days of Activism against Women and Children with the Transgender and Gender Diverse Community.

Here at Trans Tec SA we would like to thank all our siblings for registering to be able to receive their Covid19 Vaccine. We would like to pledge our support in this effort to ensure everyone gets their Vaccine in a manner that does not threaten their basic human rights by means of Discrimination and Stigma.
Trans Tec SA is busy developing a Vaccine Roll out plan that just don't benefit our Community in accessing the Vaccine but continues the fight to maintain viral suppression and erredicate HIV in our Community. We will continue with our Prevention strategies to keep this Pandemic at bay. Indoing so we will ensure Gender Affirming Health to still enjoy a front row seat.

To All those who already had their Jab we are proud of you and we know many suffers the fear of needles but we continue our fight in the mist of our natural fears.

On 14 April 2021 memebers of Trans Tec SA participate in a focus group discussion about the current service provision of HIV services we receive at a local level. The Garden Route Key Population group has made their voices heard. This form part of a consultative process as SANAC - South African National Aids Council are in the process of developing the Request for Funding to the Gobal Fund period 2022-2025.
In order to ensure shared ownership of the Global Fund programme, the process for developing the country proposal involves consultation with a broad range of stakeholders.

Trans Tec SA will ensure to be part of these table discussions now and in the future.

Today at Trans Tec SA we looking at GENDER DEFINITIONS. This comes at a alarming statement that some of members in the LGBTIQA++ community still refers to Transgender being a Gay Men that engage in a sexual possion commonly known as "Bottom" constituents the Individual are Transgender.

We would to like invite the LGBTIQA++ community to engage us in this conversation using this Facebook platform. Let us be the Generation to correct any misinformation about our community.
