At 8 years old, Chase should be spending his days in a loving home, not a kennel. This gentle Shar-Pei x Labrador boy dreams of nothing more than a comfy bed, a few daily walks, plenty of cuddles, and someone he can finally call his own. ❤️

Calm, affectionate, and easy-going, Chase has so much love left to give. He adores human company and would make a wonderfully loyal companion for someone looking for a steady, devoted best friend.

Crew's story breaks our hearts.

Years ago, he was found abandoned on the side of the road in Mnandi alongside his mom. Frightened and unsure of the world, they were brought to safety and waited together for a second chance.

Then one day, his mom was adopted.

Crew wasn't.

And somehow, he is still waiting.

Now around 7 years old, Crew has spent most of his life hoping someone will choose him. Yet he is everything you could want in a companion – handsome, loyal, gentle, and full of love.

He gets along well with other dogs when introductions are done properly and, given a few weeks to settle in, becomes a wonderful part of the family.

A huge thank you to Events For A Purpose for once again including PAWS R US in their Annual Blanket Drive. ❤️🐾

As winter settles in, every blanket makes a difference to the dogs in our care, helping to keep them warm, comfortable, and loved while they wait for their forever homes.

We are looking for additional collection and drop-off points in the Fourways area. If you own a business, work in an office park, manage an estate, or would be willing to assist as a collection point, please let us know.

Together, we can make sure hundreds of rescue dogs have a warmer winter. 🐶❄️

Thank you to everyone who supports rescue animals and helps us make a difference, one blanket at a time. Please share and help us spread the word. 🙏🐾

We are collecting blankets for over 600 dogs in the following shelters: Paws R Us: SA, The Dogs Trust, Happy Yappers Animal Sanctuary NPO 119-872 and Dogtown South Africa, as well as dogs in the townships (assisted by The Dogs Trust & Happy Yappers).

Meet Rocky, a handsome young Labrador cross with a heart as big as his smile. 🥹❤️

When Rocky first arrived, he was unsure of himself and needed time to settle. But with patience and kindness, he has blossomed into a happy, affectionate boy who loves being around people and joining in on life's adventures.

At around 2 years old, Rocky is playful, friendly, and full of character. He absolutely loves his walks and has a slightly goofy way of trotting along that never fails to make us smile. 🥰

Yin is currently recovering from surgery after having a cancerous squamous cell carcinoma removed from her tummy, while Yang is staying close by as the loyal friend he has always been.
