Lexcorp Personnel is looking for an experienced Financial Manager/Chartered Accountant/Accountant with diverse skills, enabling him or her to assist with trading activities and running a business.

Job Description

OVERVIEW:

A leading Wholesale and Distribution (Exports) company in Durban is looking for a dynamic individual, ideally with previous experience in Wholesale, to assist with running and managing the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understand trends of consumer spending/buying
power and economic factors that could have a
direct or indirect impact on the business
- Identify opportunities to expand business
- Ability to negotiate with Suppliers or
Manufacturers and Oversee Supply chain from a
broad prospective ensuring SLA are in place and
obligations are met, addressing any shortfalls
- Deal with stakeholders to secure Trade
finance_funding
- Ensure the smooth operation of the finance
department and policies and procedures adhered
to
- Analysis and interpretation of Financial Data and
accurate reporting thereon
- Prepare Budgets and do variance reporting
- Meeting all statutory tax and companies act
deadlines
- Cashflow forecasting

REQUIREMENTS:

- Chartered Accountant (CA)SA or
- Commercial experience showcasing abilities to
manage and run a business
- Excellent Negotiating and Communication skills
to engage with all levels of the business and
stakeholders to drive the business forward
- Advanced Excel
