Fahrenheit Design

So here we are, back at a familiar estate, working for a familiar client. This time it was their new-forever home. Complete project, from a grassy hillslope, to a beautiful family space.

About 18 years ago, when my client was nursing toddlers, we designed their apartment and furnished it. Now the toddlers are men, my client is still fantastic, and I was so happy to be called back to begin a renovation. The home is not yet complete, but the difference already shows.

This is Masjid Masjidul Abraar, a new home for about 1300 musalleen in Pietermaritzburg. About 18 Months to completion, including bespoke design interior carpeting and some bold design choices for the double volume Mimbar and Mihrab spaces. We worked on 3 new Masjid projects simultaneously and will post images of the other 2 spaces in time.

Time to post some recent work. I have taken a very conservative approach to posting our work, more out of respect for my clients own privacy, consequently some people may believe that we are not doing much work. You are wrong! Our portfolio of recently completed work is fantastic. Moreover, confirmed project commissions for the next 36 months is probably the best work we have ever been asked to do. Our clients are fantastic and the belief in our talent is more rewarding than ever.
